The Outdoor Committee is made up of area business people who volunteer their time in planning, organizing and setting up for the show. There are plenty of hours and hard work into putting the Outdoor Expo together.
Rick Windham, Chairman of the Committee, is an avid outdoorsman himself. He would like to have a show that shows the many aspects of what people can do in the outdoors. Hunting and fishing is just the start of a list that can go on and on. Biking, golfing, running, metal detecting, GPS treasure hunting is just a few more to consider.
The set up for the show takes a full day. The committee and other volunteers take the D & N Event Center from a wide open space to a well planned, well flowing event full of booths and boats/campers/vehicles.
